How to post your first job
Posting a job puts your shipment in front of Load Assist's Carrier network so you can start receiving quotes. It takes a few minutes to fill out and doesn't cost anything until you accept a quote.
Who this is for
Job posting is available to accounts with the Shipper role. If you're transporting goods for other people rather than shipping your own, you probably want a Carrier account instead — see For Carriers.
Before you start
Have these on hand so you can complete the form in one pass:
- Pickup and delivery addresses, including any access instructions;
- Pickup date and time window (and delivery window, if you have one);
- What you're shipping — item description, quantity, and approximate weight/dimensions;
- Photos of the items, especially anything fragile, oversized, or high-value;
- Whether pickup/delivery locations have loading facilities (forklift, overhead crane, or none).
Overview of the process
- Fill out the 4-step job form: Job Info → Route → Cargo → Schedule & Review.
- Submit — your job goes live and is visible to matching Carriers.
- Carriers send quotes; you compare and accept one.
- The job becomes a booking and moves through pickup, transit, and delivery.
