Job posting FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most often from first-time Shippers.

How long does it take to get quotes?

It varies by route and urgency, but most jobs receive their first quote within a few hours. Marking a job Urgent or ASAP typically surfaces it to more Carriers sooner.

Can I edit a job after posting it?

Yes, as long as it hasn't been booked yet — open the job and choose Edit. Once a quote is accepted and the job is Booked, changes to route or schedule should go through the Carrier directly, since they've already committed to those details.

Can I cancel a job before accepting a quote?

Yes. A job with no accepted quote can be cancelled at any time from its detail page at no cost.

Do I have to accept a quote?

No — you can compare multiple quotes and aren't obligated to accept any of them. The job stays live and visible to Carriers until you accept one or cancel it.

What if no Carriers quote my job?

Double-check your route, dates, and item details are realistic and complete — vague or restrictive jobs get fewer quotes. You can also edit the job to widen the pickup window or urgency.

When am I charged?

You're not charged anything until you accept a quote and the job becomes a booking. Payment terms and the escrow process are covered in Payment terms and escrow system.

What happens if something goes wrong during delivery?

Raise a dispute from the booking's detail page. See How to raise a dispute for what to do and what to have ready.
